I had gallbladder removed. Surgeon cut my duct to my liver and left an accessory branch pouring bile into my abdomen. I had biliary peritonitis, pnuemoperitineum, septic shock. I was within 24hrs of death. The surgeon who performed the surgery told me he was sorry, he just didn’t see it. Now I have liver damage and I was informed today that I may have hepatitis. >;) I called my surgeon for 4 days telling him something was not right and he kept putting me off and telling me to walk…. needless to say, the more I was walking, the more I was bleeding and pouring bile into my abdomen. What kind of hepatitis can I have considering I have never used needles,am not gay, or had multiple sex partners? And, How long do I have to live with the pain and diarrea?
