I too had my GB out in July 2008. I have gained 20 pounds as well. It does not matter what I do I just keep gaining weight. I went to my doctor and he said the weight gain has nothing to do with my gall bladder. I also have pain in my lower right back. I hope someone can figure out what is going on with us. I least I know it is not in my head like my doctor has told me.
