Well, the gall blader is a very important organ, as any other organ. It is much wiser to “fix” it with homeopathy and remove the mud and the stones with homeopathy then to have it removed by a surgeon. The surgen has no logic in doing that.
We should know why the gall bladder gets sick and what purpose it has in the body.
The bile stored in the gall bladder is needed for digestion, without enough bile the digestive problems will increase, and that explain most problems which appear after removal of the gall bladder, as we can clearly see from the 3 cases related above.
But we should not forget that there are big differences among people which depends of their constitution (choleric , melancholic, sanguinic , phlegmatic).
The gall bladder is not producing the bile, it is only a collector for it, which is produces by the liver.
The body produces about 600-700 ml bile between the meals, which is stored in the gall blader, ready to be deliver when eating. When the gall blader has been removed, there will be not enough bile stored for a complete digestion, so people without the gall bladder would
eat slower and less and should avoid food which requires a lot of gall to be digested (hard to digest food, fats, etc). When the gall bladder is filled with gall stones, there will be less space in the bladder to store the bile.
We should also know that the main thing which affect the gall blader is the fury/anger,
be it expressed anger or the one not shown and kept inside.
We should also know that when people get angry there will be an excess of the bile which will mix with the blood, poisoning it. The bile used in the the stomach is recollected by some veins back to the liver, in order too be reused. When someone will produce too much bile because of an anger, the excess of this bile will get somehow into the blood.
The bile is only good for digestion and it is poisonous for the rest of the body. The bile contains cholesterine, lecithin, bilirubin and biliverdin and many other substances.
If the bile gets into the blood it will thicken it and will affect in a negative way the whole body and also the state of the mind.
Another function of the bladder, unknown by the medicine, is that when the carbon if filtered out from the nutritional blood gathered from the small intestines blood vessels, this is partially sent to the gal bladder and partially stored in the fat tissues.
Reumatism, gout, migrene, pains, cramps, sadness, depression are only a few of the effects of the bile poisoning the blood. I suppose that the main reason for the high cholesterin values nowdays is the anger and its effect: the blood thickened by the frequent excess of the bile and the proof for that is the cholesterine in the blood.
Now the question is how fast will a person remove the bile from the blood before affecting organs or being stored in the organs, joints, or thickening all other secretion causing chronic diseases.
In order to understand this process we need to also look at the type of blood and constitution that the people have.
In the 4 different constitution types set by Hippocrates the differences are made by quality and quantity of the 4 liquids found in the body : blood (sanguine), yellow bile (choleric), black bile (melancholic) and all other secretions like lymph, mucous, etc (phlegmatic),.
It is little known that people who get easily angry but are able to show their anger (Nux vomica type) generally do not produce sufficient yellow bile. So this people suffer actually from a chronic insufficiency of bile production.
The main job of the yellow bile is to excrete, digest and absorb fats, but its hot, sharp, mildly irritating quality also acts to stimulate peristaltic movement and the defecation reflex in the large intestine. This makes bile the body’s own natural laxative. Normal healthy bile is what colors the stool a rich, dark brown; stools that are too light in color usually lack sufficient bile.
That is why probably a Nux vomica type has often the symptom CONSTIPATION, because it lacks a sufficient quantity of bile at the digestion.
But the advantage of this type of constitution with a fast and excitable blood is that when they do get angry, they are able to eliminate fast the bile from the blood.
This is not the case for people with a slow blood, who do get angry but more internally and who are not able to express the anger and discharge immediately from their anger.
They will tend to keep the anger inside. Many of this last type have usually a thick blood (even from birth) and can be easily excited even by unimportant matters but they are not capable of expressing or discharging the anger right away, thus being affected by the bile in the blood. Among these people there are specially women.
Because of this reason, their blood will be permanent mixed with bile and thus all secretions in the body will be thickened by this thick blood mixed with bile.
The most important problems with gall bladder problems is to avoid anger of any kind, which is probably not an easy goal to achieve.
In order to fix that problems with the bile and gall bladder a good diet is needed and avoiding all kinds of anger is required. For the people without the gall bladder we should also take in consideration the constitution and also the fact that without the gall bladder there is automatically less bile to use for the digestion process.
Since the whole digestion is a process of fermentation, this process depends of some factors:
– The fermentation capability of the food. Food capable of fermentation requires less bile than the one not or less capable of fermentation. Dry food, fat and meat requires much more bile than fruits and vegetables for example. Same with different type of bread or with pasta. Pasta is not easy to digest . Uncooked cereals (muesli) cannot be easily digested either. This does not mean that food which leads to fermentation – like apple juice or yeast – is good!
Too much fermentation is as bad as eating too fat or too dry food. Many unripe fruits, cabbage, broccoli and similar thing will ferment too much.
The golden rule here is: cooked, warm and light food is better and much easier to digest while fresh fruits and salads are less good and depending of the constitution can create more or less problems.
– The oxigen in the blood. Fermentation needs oxygen. There are some veins which bring oxygen rich blood from the lungs directly to the liver.
If the air in which somebody is eating is fresh and with a lot of oxigen this help the digestion.
If is is not fresh or smoky (restaurants), it will have a negative effect on the digestive process. In order to have enough oxygen in the blood it would be better to do some walking (5-10 minutes) in fresh air BEFORE the meals and shortly after and open the windows for some minutes prior of having the meal to exchange the air.
– The time. Eating too fast it will make it difficult for the body to produce enough bile for the
food coming into the duodenum. This is specially important for absence of the gall bladder. Chewing longer it will make the food less diggestable, the saliva contains
enzimes which help making the food easier to digest.
– The temperature. The liver needs heat to work and it can produce it too, but the main heat which triggers starts the liver comes from the spleen. The spleen is damaged when drinking cold drinks. A cold drink before meals or during meals, or cold food, will affect not only the spleen but also the heat of the stomach and of the liver so thus it will effect digestion. For a god fermentation we need a certain temperature which should not go low during this process. That is why in certain asian countries people used to drink only warm tea while having a meal. Cold food and salads before meals are not good at all for people with gall bladder problems or with a removed one.
– the quantity and quality of the bile. This depends of the constitution and of the liver/gall-blader problems. In a nervous and hot tempered constitution for example there will be too little bile by default, while in others too much or the bile is too weak.
Taking into consideration these factors would mean a lot of improvement for people with gall bladder problems or with a removed one, but for every person who want to live healthy is good
not to ignore this.
People with thick blood should avoid fat, alcohol, sweets and should avoid mistakes in the diet because one single day can spoil the whole diet made a lot of weeks before.
For this kind of people fresh fruits are not indicated either, especially when eaten after noon. In this case cooked fruits are better and also recommended (simply forget the allopathic vitamin theory, it is not true, just look at the eskimos) . Having periods of fastening in springs and autumn will help cleansing the blood.
Many homeopathic remedies act actually on the bile production or help eliminating the bile in the blood, and here is the main reason for many symptoms people have.
We know the Pulsatilla constitution, a mainly female constitution, which has a big problem digesting fat, ice cream (=fat), and pasta/pastry (difficult to digest), which all
require a lot of bile and shows also some of their problem with the bile adn the thick blood. They belong to the persons who have fast emotions and are easy to get angry, but in the same time
their blood will not easily get rid of the bile from the blood like a Nux vomica type.
Pulsatilla will have all kind of symptoms from the bile in the blood.
Their thicker blood is shown in the tendency to make varices in the legs. If we take the rubric “Varices, lower extremities” we will found PULS, LYC, CALC, but we will not find Nux-v.
Bile in the blood is also the main organic cause for depressions, melancholy (black bile = melanche), changes of moods, bad mood, irritability, etc.
P.S. I had to add something I have forgotten: coffee (and all products which contain coffein – coffee, black tea, green tea, guarana, coca cola & pepsi ) is in top 3 of the things to be avoided when having digestive problems and specially when having blood or nerve affections.
I add here also a simple method of eliminating the bile from the blood: boil 20-30 ml of good red wine and when it stars boiling pour 20-30 ml of cold water in it and then take it from the fire.
Drink it warm, in small sips not too fast. It has very little alcohol, it eliminates the bile, gives sleep and makes happy. For cholerics, sad people and the ones who cannot fall asleep.
