I had my gallbladder removed in September, I’m 19 so I used to drink a fair bit being young and whatnot. The reason we can’t drink much anymore is because your liver takes over the job of your gallbladder managing bile and fat digestion, and drinking on top of this gives it too much work. I get an attack when I drink too much, particularly heavy drinks, I can’t drink port or lager but I can manage one alcopop or a glass of cherry sourz and coke!
