2010 I had my gallbladder removed because it was not functioning correctly. Since then I have had ongoing chronic pain on my right side thru to my back as well as nausea and vomiting. I have been put on cymbalta, lyrica, and noratriptaline, none of which have helped. I have seen specialist after specialist, had stents put in the common bile duct and pancreatic duct, which did not work. Since i have fibromyalgia the Dr.s blame this for my pain, but I didn’t have this constant pain before the surgery. I have fought to maintain a normal weight for the past 2 years and only the noratriptaline helped with that. The Dr.s are now sending me to a new specialist because they cant figure out what is wrong. Meantime i keep missing work because of the vomitting and the Drs are considering putting me on a med that has side effects of parkensons disease. My husband and I are fed up with all the tests and drugs. They have wiped us out both emotionally and financially. Looking back I wish I had never consented to the gallbladder surgery and just dealt with the occasional flare ups.
