“It’s really helping me to take digestive enzyme supplements (get a good one with at least 5 different enzymes) with meals. They help breakdown foods so they don’t stick around in the stomach long enough to cause reflux. For me cutting out dairy, sugar, wheat + coffee has made a world of difference. Sounds like a big deal, but you actually have a lot more energy cutting out those foods so its worth it. Some people really benefit from bile salt supplements at meals as well.

Make sure to get plenty of monounsaturated fats in the forms of avocado, olives, olive oil, almonds, cashews, coconut oil. These fats are easier for your body to digest (less bile is needed) and you need them to absorb fat soluble vitamins like D, A, K + E -plus they’re good for your heart, have been shown to reduce breast cancer in studies and actually signal your body that its okay to release stored fat! ”
