I had weight loss surgery in feb 2009 – and when i had a gallblatter attack last on Oct 21st I went to see my surgeon. He did a lap gallblatter removal but left a JP drain tube in. It now appears at a week out that I have a bile duct leak. The JP tube fills up fairly quickly. I go see him tomorrow but he told me the drain will stay in for a couple of weeks until the body heals itself. My pain has not been too bad and I am feeling normal (I just wanted to say this surgery is so much harder than my WLS surgery)”
